Carmen Perez, born Carmen Gloria Pérez in The Bronx, New York, moved to Puerto Rico at age ten. She served six years active duty in the U.S. Army, then earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and International Politics from George Mason University. Perez has acted in various TV shows like 'Nip/Tuck' and 'Everybody Hates Chris', and won awards for her role in 'Soldiers Don’t Cry'. Additionally, she is a talented musician with two songs reaching Billboard charts, and recently released an EP nominated for Best Jazz EP. Perez has also written and illustrated children’s books. Currently based mainly in Norway, she speaks English, Spanish, and Norwegian.
