French singer and actress Camille Houssière, known professionally as Camille Lou, was born on May 22, 1992, in Bersillies near Maubeuge. She began her musical career at age 12, winning a local singing competition. In 2011, she won the role of Olympe in Dove Attia's musical '1789: Les Amants de la Bastille'. She later played Guenièvre in 'La Légende du roi Arthur' (2015). Apart from her stage roles, Lou recorded songs for 'We Love Disney' and 'Forever Gentlemen Volume 2', and appeared in Emmanuel Fricero's film 'Marché noir'. Her professional name, Camille Lou, emerged after she started her solo career under the pseudonym Jimmie.
