Banafshe Hourmazdi is an actress who studied acting at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Württemberg and Zurich University of the Arts. She has developed and acted in plays at various theaters such as Ballhaus Naunynstraße Berlin, Münchner Kammerspiele, Theater Oberhausen, Ruhrtriennale, and Sophiensaele Berlin.
