Anke Engelke, born in 1965, is a Canadian-born German actress and comedian who grew up trilingual. She started her career early by dubbing and hosting TV shows. Her most notable works include Ladykracher (2003-2010), a successful German sketch comedy series with eight seasons. Engelke has appeared in numerous films and series, such as Mein Sohn, Der Onkel (2001), Mutter (2003), Das letzte Wort (since 2018), and LOL - Last One Laughing (2020). She is also known for voicing characters like Marge Simpson in The Simpsons and Dory in Finding Nemo. Engelke has been an ambassador for action medeor since 2003.
