Amy Lynn Baxter, born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, started her acting career at age 17 after moving to Hollywood with her uncle Max Baer Jr., who introduced her to James Woods whom she dated briefly. Her early roles were primarily T&A beach comedies and softcore films shot in Florida and New York City. She gained significant exposure as the 'Pet of the Month' for Penthouse magazine in June 1990, and appeared frequently on Howard Stern's radio show.
