Dorothy Alison, known for her roles in See No Evil (1971), The Nun's Story (1959), and A Cry in the Dark (1988), was an Australian actress who spent most of her career in London after initially working as a secretary. She returned to Australia in 1980 for the miniseries A Town Like Alice (1981) and remained there throughout the 1980s. Married to Leslie Linder, she passed away at the age of 66 in London in 1992.
