French actress Alexia Barlier was born and raised bilingual in Paris, exposed to both French and English languages due to her New Zealand ballet dancer mother and French art dealer father. She discovered her acting talent at age 14 playing Viola in Twelfth Night and started taking classes soon after. At 18, she secured her first film role in '24 Hours in a Woman's Life'. In 2007, she gained recognition as an Adami talent at Cannes Film Festival for her roles in 'Comédiennes' by the Larrieu brothers and 'Conversations with My Gardener' by Jean Becker. She went on to star in Michael Bay's '13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi'.
