Rachel Weisz was born on March 7, 1970, and began her acting career in stage and television productions in the early 1990s. Her film debut was in 'Death Machine' (1994). She won a Critics' Circle Theatre Award for her role in the revival of Noël Coward's play 'Design for Living'. Weisz gained significant recognition for her role as Evelyn Carnahan in 'The Mummy' and its sequel 'The Mummy Returns'.
