Dame Helen Mirren, born Helen Lydia Mironoff on July 26, 1945, is an English actor known for her versatile roles and numerous accolades. She portrayed a young IRA woman named Maguire in the film 'Cal' (1984), for which she won the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress. Mirren's extensive career also includes iconic performances such as Queen Elizabeth II in 'The Queen' (2006), DCI Jane Tennison in 'Prime Suspect' (1991-2006), and roles in films like 'The Long Good Friday' (1980) and 'Hitchcock' (2012). She is the only person to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
