Delphine Seyrig, born Delphine Claire Beltiane Seyrig on April 10, 1932 in Beirut, Lebanon, was a French actress known for her roles in various films, including 'Day of the Jackal' (1973). She became active in the feminist movement in the 1970s and joined forces with other women to form Les Insoumuses collective. Seyrig also directed films and worked as a political activist using video production.

Olga Georges-Picot (1940-1997) was a French actress born in Shanghai during Japanese occupation to French diplomat Guillaume Georges-Picot and Russian mother Anastasia Mironovich. She attended schools in Geneva and New York, and studied acting at the Actors Studio in Paris. Known for her role in 'Je t'aime, je t'aime' (1968), she also appeared in 'The Day of the Jackal' (1973) and 'Love and Death' (1975). She died by suicide in Paris on June 19, 1997.

In 'Day of the Jackal', an international assassin known as 'The Jackal' is hired by a group of disgruntled French generals to assassinate President Charles de Gaulle.
