Maja Ostaszewska, born September 3, 1972 in Kraków, Poland, is an acclaimed Polish actress. Daughter of musician Jacek Ostaszewski, she started her acting career at a young age. Trained in Kraków and graduating from PWST in 1996, Ostaszewska has performed predominantly with Teatr Rozmaitości in Warsaw under renowned directors like Krystian Lupa and Krzysztof Warlikowski. She debuted on film in 1997's 'Przystań', winning a Best Actress Award at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia the following year.
