Max, on his way to Tokyo and engaged to be married, believes he sees Lisa, his former lover, in a Paris café. Obsessed with reconnecting with her, Max finds out where she lives and hides in her apartment. Unbeknownst to him, another woman named Alice enters the apartment and mistakes Max for a burglar. Despite this misunderstanding, they have sex. complications arise when it's revealed that Alice is the girlfriend of Max's friend Lucien, and Lisa has an older man following her.
