Ingrid Chauvin, born October 3, 1973, in Argenteuil, France, is an actress known for roles in 'Méditerranée', 'Dolmen', and 'Femmes de loi'. Despite parental opposition, she pursued acting, working initially as a makeup artist while attending castings. She rose to prominence playing Marie Balaguère in 'Femmes de loi' (2000-2007) and starred in 'Dolmen' (2005). Chauvin survived a car accident in 2003 with serious injuries, and has been married since 2011 to Thierry Peythieu. They have two children: daughter Jade (2013-2014) and son Tom born in 2016.
