Jessica Harper, born on October 10, 1949, is an American actress and singer who started her film career with notable roles in 'Phantom of the Paradise' (1974), 'Love and Death' (1975), and 'Inserts' (1975). She gained international recognition for portraying Suzy Bannion in Dario Argento's cult classic 'Suspiria' (2018 remake). Throughout her career, Harper has appeared in various films including 'My Favorite Year', 'Stardust Memories', 'Shock Treatment', and 'Minority Report'. Apart from acting, she is also an author of children's music and books.
