Jessie Buckley, an Irish actress and singer, began her career as a contestant on BBC's 'I'd Do Anything' in 2008. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and has since portrayed notable roles such as Marya Bolkonskaya in 'War and Peace' (2016), Lorna Bow in 'Taboo' (2017), and Marian Halcombe in 'The Woman in White' (2018). Buckley made her film debut in 'Beast' (2017) and has since been recognized for her performances, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as young Leda in 'The Lost Daughter' (2021). She won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Sally Bowles in a West End revival of Cabaret in 2021.
