Morjana Alaoui, born on November 30, 1982, in Casablanca, Morocco, is an actress known for her roles in 'Marock' (2005), 'Martyrs' (2008), and 'Rock the Casbah'. Raised in the Anfa neighborhood of Casablanca and educated at the Casablanca American School, she moved to Paris at 18, studying at the American University of Paris. After meeting director Laila Marrakchi, Alaoui secured her first significant role in 'Marock', which gained critical acclaim and national fame. She later starred in 'Broken' (2016), a psychological thriller about a young woman coping with her harrowing past while caring for a tetraplegic patient.
