Threshold (2016) follows Cynthia, a young wife who blames herself for her son's accidental death. One night during apocalyptic events, an otherworldly intruder appears in her home. This entity knows every detail of Cynthia's guilt-ridden past and seems to have come for some form of redemption or retribution.
Threshold is a psychological horror-thriller directed by Jason Eric Perlman that premiered in 2016. The film explores the themes of guilt, grief, and redemption through the lens of supernatural horror. It's unclear whether the intruder is real or a manifestation of Cynthia's guilt, but its presence forces her to confront her past.
