Years after the nuclear incident in Tromaville High, the school has been rebuilt and expanded to include the Tromaville Institute of Technology, located within the nuclear plant itself. Prof. Holt creates Subhumanoids, emotionless beings genetically programmed for menial tasks. School reporter Roger Smith meets one such subhumanoid named Victoria and falls in love with her. Meanwhile, the creatures have a tendency to go into spontaneous meltdowns. In the climax, Tromie, a giant mutant squirrel, attacks the institute, leading to an explosive finale as Roger tries to save Victoria.
Following the success of 'Class of Nuke 'Em High,' this sequel shifts focus to college-aged students in the newly rebuilt and expanded Tromaville Institute of Technology. The film explores themes of love between humans and artificial beings, and the consequences of unchecked technology. It also features the return of Tromie, a giant mutant squirrel from the first film. As a Troma production, it maintains the company's signature blend of comedy, horror, and social commentary.
