Adrift follows Tami Oldham (Shailene Woodley) and Richard Sharp (Sam Claflin), two avid sailors who meet and fall in love while traveling together. They decide to set sail from Tahiti to San Diego on a 36-foot yacht. However, they soon find themselves in the path of Hurricane Raymond, one of the most catastrophic hurricanes ever recorded.
