Leah McKendrick, born to a Nicaraguan mother and an Irish/Scottish father, began her career in musical theatre in San Francisco. She started writing and producing plays at a young age, performing live shows throughout the Bay Area before relocating southwards to study Theatre at Chapman University.

The movie 'Bad Moms' follows three overworked and under-appreciated mothers - Amy, Kiki, and Carla - who reach a breaking point due to their demanding responsibilities.
