ストーリー
Orpheline follows Renée, a schoolteacher struggling with her past and present life. The film is divided into four periods of her life: childhood, puberty, adolescence, and adulthood.
In her adulthood, Renée is emotionally damaged, committed to teaching underprivileged youth, and trying to have a child with her boyfriend. However, her past resurfaces in the form of Tara, a gambler who has unfinished business with her dating back seven years.
Flashbacks reveal Sandra, a careless 20-something introduced to horse racing by Lev, an elderly professional gambler who gives her a job as a 'mule' carrying bet money. Before that, Karine, an audacious 13-year-old, engages in superficial relationships while running from her brutal father.
