In 'Urgence', Jean-Pierre Mougin, a macho sports reporter with zero tolerance for Nazi hate crimes, becomes embroiled in thwarting a terrorist plot by neo-Nazis to blow up an anti-racist benefit concert. The scheme comes to his attention when he acquires a videotape revealing the plan, which was passed on to him by Max, a man who had accidentally filmed a secret meeting of the terrorists before being chased and shot. Max's sister Lyza/Lisa, who is now targeted by the thugs herself, joins forces with Mougin to prevent the bombing and avenge her brother's death. As time runs out, Mougin rallies sympathetic street gangs to his side as he faces off against crooked cops and ultimately confronts Lucas Schoeder/Murmeau, the leader of the Nazi gang.
Set amidst a backdrop of anti-racist activism in France during the mid-1980s, 'Urgence' is an action-packed thriller directed by Gilles Béhat. The film centers around Jean-Pierre Mougin, a reporter who becomes entangled in a dangerous plot involving neo-Nazi terrorists intending to bomb an anti-racist concert event. With its themes of resistance against extremism and vigilante justice, the movie follows Mougin's quest to uncover the truth behind Max's murder while trying to prevent further violence.
