Julie Carmen, born April 4, 1954, in Millburn, New Jersey, USA, is an American actress and licensed psychotherapist. She gained prominence for her role in John Cassavetes' 'Gloria', winning the Venice Film Festival's Best Supporting Actress Award in the 1980s. Carmen trained with Sanford Meisner at Neighborhood Playhouse and Uta Hagen at HB Studios. She served on the Board of Directors of Women in Film for three years and IFP/West for six years.

Kiss Me a Killer follows an ex-convict named Tommy (Robert Beltran) who arrives at a dying nightclub in east Los Angeles. The club is owned by Carl (Guy Boyd), a drunkard, and run by his wife, Rose (Julie Carmen), a former stripper. Tommy becomes the new singer at the club, and as he spends more time with Rose, they begin an affair. Rose, unhappy in her marriage to Carl, persuades Tommy to kill her husband. The murder is planned meticulously, but it does not go exactly as intended.
