Anna Paquin (born July 24, 1982) is an acclaimed Canadian-New Zealand actress who began her career at age 11 with a breakthrough role in 'The Piano' (1993), earning her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, becoming the second-youngest Oscar winner. Throughout her childhood and adolescence, she received multiple award nominations for roles in films like 'Fly Away Home', 'Jane Eyre', and 'Almost Famous'. In adulthood, Paquin portrayed Rogue in the X-Men franchise, and won a Golden Globe for her leading role as Sookie Stackhouse in HBO's vampire drama series 'True Blood' (2008-2014).
