She attended California State University, Los Angeles and worked as an extra in mainstream productions before her adult film career. Rayne won multiple awards including XRCO Unsung Siren (2009) and AVN Unsung Starlet of the Year (2009). She died April 2, 2016 from accidental overdose within a year after retiring, following public allegations against fellow actor James Deen.
