Virginie Ledoyen, born Virginie Fernandez on November 15, 1976, began her career at age two with television advertisements and made her film debut at ten in 'Les exploits d'un jeune Don Juan'. She was nominated for a César award for most promising actress three times consecutively starting from 1993. Her international breakthrough came in 1999 when she became an ambassador for L'Oréal, leading to her role in 'The Beach' (2000) with Leonardo DiCaprio.

ストーリー
In 'Bosque de sombras', a young married couple from France (played by Judith Ledoyen and Jason Flemyng) visit their friend in the Basque region of Spain. The friend, played by Gary Oldman, has married a local woman (Ana Sánchez-Gijón). Their peaceful summer holiday turns into a nightmare when they discover a girl with severely mutilated hands in the forest nearby. They decide to help her by taking her away from the house where she's imprisoned, but this act enrages the locals who chase after them through the forest.
