Introduced to acting by Gérard Depardieu at age sixteen, she made her debut in 'The Bridge' (1999). Her breakthrough role came in 'Don't Worry, I'm Fine' (2006), earning her the César Award for Most Promising Actress and Prix Romy Schneider. Laurent gained international recognition with Quentin Tarantino's 'Inglourious Basterds' (2009) as Shosanna Dreyfus.
