Barbora Bobuľová, born April 29, 1974 in Martin, Slovakia, is an accomplished actress known for her role in 'Tartarughe sul dorso' (2004). Trained at the National Drama Academy in Bratislava, she moved to Italy in 1995 and debuted in 'Il principe di Homburg', which was selected for Cannes in 1997. Bobuľová has won multiple Best Actress awards for her role in 'Cuore Sacro' (2005). She also starred in 'In Love and War' for Hallmark Hall of Fame, and appeared alongside Shirley MacLaine in the Lifetime biopic 'Coco Chanel'. In 'Tartarughe sul dorso', she plays a woman who moves to Trieste, resumes her medical studies after her aunt's death, and eventually reunites with an old acquaintance (played by Fabrizio Rongione).
