In Berlin, Irina, a war refugee turned prostitute, and Kalle, a homeless punk, meet and form a relationship. They move into a small apartment together but Irina continues her work as a prostitute. When one of her clients suddenly dies during their encounter, Irina fears that her newfound happiness with Kalle will be jeopardized.
