Rebecca Marder, born April 10, 1995 in Paris to American musician Marc Marder and French journalist Mathilde de La Bardonnie, is a French film and stage actress. She trained at Conservatoire à rayonnement communal du 13e arrondissement de Paris (2008-2011) and National Theatre of Strasbourg (2014). Marder began acting at age five ('Ceci est mon corps', 2001), later appearing in films like 'The Round Up' (2010) and winning Prix du jeune espoir féminin at La Rochelle for her role in 'Emma' (2012). In 2015, she joined Comédie-Française as one of its youngest salaried actresses. She's known for roles in 'Irradiated' (2020), 'A Radiant Girl' (2021), and 'Simone Veil, A Woman of the Century' (2022). Marder has been nominated twice for César Award for Most Promising Actress.

In the aftermath of World War I, Antoine, a handsome veteran, returns home ready to resume his life with his wife Marianne. However, their happiness is threatened when Evelyne, Marianne's alluring sister, enters their lives. Evelyne draws Antoine into an affair, weaving a web of deceit and infidelity that jeopardizes the couple's relationship.
