Vivica Anjanetta Fox, born July 30, 1964 in South Bend, Indiana, is an American actress and television producer. She is of African American and Native American descent, with parents Everlyena and William Fox. After graduating from Arlington High School in Indianapolis and Golden West College with an Associate Art degree in Social Sciences, she began her acting career on soap operas like Generations and Days of Our Lives. Her breakout roles were Emily Franklin in Living Dolls (though replaced by Halle Berry) and Charisse Chamberlain in Out All Night. Fox gained prominence in films Independence Day and Set It Off in 1996. She starred in Missing from 2004 to 2006, judged The Starlet on The WB, and participated in Dancing with the Stars season 3. She married singer Christopher Harvest in 1998, divorcing in 2002, then dated rapper 50 Cent briefly.
