Candy follows an Australian man who falls in love with two things: a woman named Candy and heroin. The story begins when he meets Candy, an art student drawn to his bohemian lifestyle. Their relationship quickly becomes intertwined with their shared love for heroin. As they spiral into drug addiction, their lives alternate between states of oblivion, self-destruction, and despair. Despite attempts to go clean in Melbourne, they fail and resort to finding money and drugs while other possessions and attachments become unimportant.
