Patricia Arquette, born April 8, 1968, is an American actress known for her versatile roles in film and television. She started her career with 'A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors' (1987) and gained critical acclaim for her role as a divorced mother in 'Boyhood' (2014), winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Arquette played Allison DuBois, a medium, in the TV series 'Medium' (2005-2011), earning an Emmy Award for her performance. A young Danish man travels to America in search of his father whom he barely remembers. In New Mexico, he meets the daughter of a political-religious fanatic who runs a 'survival school.'
