Born in Santa Clara, California, Vanessa Sheri harbored dreams of becoming either a doctor or an actress. At the age of 16, she became a mother to her son Austin. She graduated from Connecting Waters Charter School in Waterford, CA in 2004 and earned a Medical Assistant degree from Meric College in Salida, CA in 2007. Sheri worked in the medical field for five years before deciding to pursue acting full-time in 2010. She moved to Los Angeles and became a SAG-AFTRA member in 2013.

Alpha House follows two freshmen pledges who are accepted into the biggest party frat on campus, believing they've made it to the top.
