Kimiko Glenn was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She began performing in theater at age ten with Valley Youth Theatre and later attended Boston Conservatory for a year before joining the national tour of Spring Awakening. After settling in New York, she performed in various stage productions such as Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots and The Nightingale at La Jolla Playhouse, Shakespeare in the Park's Love's Labour's Lost, and Off-Broadway's Freckleface Strawberry. Glenn has also acted in films like Construction, Nous York, Hairbrained, Galaxy Comics, and appeared in NBCUniversal's Holding Patterns pilot. Notably, she plays Brook Soso in Netflix's Orange is the New Black.
