Maribel Verdú, born María Isabel Verdú Rollán on October 2, 1970, is a Spanish actress with a career spanning nearly four decades. She began acting at age 13 with 'Captain Sánchez's Crime' (1985). Notable film credits include 'Lovers' (1991), 'Belle Époque' (1992), 'Y tu mamá también' (2001), 'Pan's Labyrinth' (2006), and 'The Blind Sunflowers' (2008). She won two Goya Awards for Best Actress.
