Amy Lou Adams, born August 20, 1974, is an American actress known for her comedic and dramatic roles. She began her career as a dancer in dinner theatre before making her film debut in 'Drop Dead Gorgeous' (1999). American Hustle follows conman Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale) and his partner Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams).
