Gemma Christina Arterton, born February 2, 1986 in Gravesend, Kent, England, is an English actress and producer. She made her feature film debut in 'St Trinian's' (2007) before gaining international recognition as Bond Girl Strawberry Fields in 'Quantum of Solace' (2008), winning an Empire Award for Best Newcomer. Notable roles include 'The Disappearance of Alice Creed' (2009). She has since appeared in various films like 'Tamara Drewe', 'Clash of the Titans', and 'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters'. Arterton has also had successful stage career, winning awards for her performances in 'Made in Dagenham' and 'Nell Gwynn'. Richie, a Princeton grad student who cracks an online poker game, suspects he's been cheated out of his winnings. He travels to Costa Rica to confront Ivan Block, the offshore entrepreneur he believes is responsible. Richie is seduced by Block's promise of immense wealth and becomes involved in his operation.
