Kim Dickens (born Kimberly Jan Dickens on June 18, 1965) is an American actress known for her diverse roles in both film and television. She began her acting career with a lead role in the comedy film Palookaville (1995). Over the years, she has taken on various leading roles in films such as Truth or Consequences, N.M. (1997), Zero Effect (1998), Mercury Rising (1998), and Gone Girl (2014). Dickens has also appeared in critically acclaimed movies like Hollow Man (2000), House of Sand and Fog (2003), Thank You for Smoking (2005), The Blind Side (2009), Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016), Lizzie (2018), Land (2021), and most recently, The Good Nurse (2022).
