She gained prominence for her role as Maddy in 'Crazy/Beautiful' (2001) and has since appeared in various films including 'Crossroads', '8 Mile', 'Hustle & Flow', and 'Weirdsville'. Manning is also known for her portrayal of Piper Chapman in the Netflix series 'Orange Is the New Black' (2013-present), a role that brought her significant acclaim.
