Selma Blair Beitner, born June 23, 1972, is an American actress known for her roles in 'Legally Blonde' (2001), 'The Sweetest Thing' (2002), and as Liz Sherman in the 'Hellboy' series (2004, 2008). After training at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting, Blair began her acting career with small roles before gaining recognition for her portrayal of Zoe Bean in 'Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane' (1999-2000) and winning an MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss in 'Cruel Intentions' (1999). She has also appeared in independent films like 'Storytelling' (2001), and numerous other movies. Blair revealed in 2018 that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis earlier that year.

The Hughes family, consisting of Mark, Mary, and their young son, retreat to their woodland vacation home seeking solace after the accidental death of their six-year-old daughter. Their peaceful getaway is violently interrupted when their friendly neighbors, Jake and Sadie, reveal themselves to be sinister individuals intent on stealing the Hughes' identities in order to live a 'perfect' life. The families become embroiled in a brutal struggle for survival as Mark and Mary must go beyond what they thought they were capable of to protect themselves and their son.
