Leighton Marissa Meester, born April 9, 1986 in Fort Worth, Texas, is an American actress and singer known for her role as Blair Waldorf in the popular teen drama series 'Gossip Girl' (2007–12). She has also appeared in several films including 'Country Strong' (2010), 'The Roommate' (2011), 'Monte Carlo' (2011), 'The Oranges' (2011), and 'That's My Boy' (2012). Meester made her Broadway debut in 2014 with the play 'Of Mice and Men'.

ストーリー
Gossip Girl follows the lives of privileged teenagers on Manhattan's Upper East Side, whose lives revolve around the anonymous gossip blog 'Gossip Girl'. The series begins with Serena Van Der Woodsen returning from a boarding school in Connecticut after disappearing without a trace. Blair Waldorf, Serena's best friend and social climbing queen bee, is thrown off balance by Serena's return, especially when she realizes that Nate Archibald, her boyfriend, has been acting strangely since Serena left. Meanwhile, Dan Humphrey, a lonely outsider from Brooklyn, starts his first day at the elite Constance Billard School for Girls and Riverside Prep, where he meets and befriends Serena.
