Liv Rundgren Tyler, born July 1, 1977, began her career as a model at age 14 before acting in 'Silent Fall' (1994). She gained critical recognition for roles in 'Heavy', 'Empire Records', 'That Thing You Do!', and 'Stealing Beauty' (all 1995-1996). Tyler played Arwen Undómiel in the Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-2003), one of its highest-grossing film series. Post-LOTR, she appeared in various films like 'Jersey Girl', 'The Strangers', and 'Ad Astra'. On TV, she starred in 'The Leftovers' and '9-1-1: Lone Star'. Tyler is also a singer, collaborating with Howard Shore and appearing on albums by The Lemonheads and Evan Dando. She's UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the US since 2003 and Givenchy spokesperson.

ストーリー
Lucy Harmon, a 19-year-old American girl, arrives in Tuscany to stay with her family's friend, an English artist living in a villa. Four years prior, Lucy had kissed an Italian boy while visiting and has been corresponding with him since. She hopes to rekindle their relationship during this visit. Lucy brings with her her late mother's diary containing poems that suggest Lucy was conceived on the hilltop where the villa resides. Lucy is determined to find out who her father is, with three potential candidates being the Italian war correspondent she once kissed, an English playwright in residence who is dying from a terminal disease, or the artist who uses chainsaws for his sculptures. The artist's family and their American lover are unaware of Lucy's quest but are intrigued by her virginity.
