She appeared as a femme fatale in several films like 'The Lady of the Camellias' (1981) and 'Plein sud' before gaining international recognition for her role in 'Bankers Also Have Souls' (1982). After retiring from acting, she married Carlo Alessandro Puri Negri (1982-1985), with whom she had a daughter. She later married Mark Shand (1990) and they had another daughter before divorcing in 2010.
