In Antarctica's Amundsen-Scott Research Station, U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko is nearing the end of her three-day tour before resigning and leaving the harsh environment behind. As she prepares to depart, a body is discovered on the open ice, marking the continent's first homicide. Carrie investigates the crime, delving deeper into a mystery that threatens her own life. Meanwhile, a U.N. agent named Robert Pryce arrives seemingly out of nowhere to assist in the investigation. Whiteout (2009) is an action thriller directed by Dominic Sena, based on a comic book.
