Natasha Richardson (1963-2009) was an English actress known for her roles in stage and film. Born into the prominent Redgrave acting family, she is best recognized for playing Mary Shelley ('Patty Hearst') in feature films. Richardson earned critical acclaim and multiple awards, including a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for 'Cabaret'. Notable works include 'The Handmaid's Tale' (1990), 'Nell' (1994), 'The Parent Trap' (1998), and 'Maid in Manhattan' (2002). She was married to actor Liam Neeson from 1994 until her death. Richardson tragically passed away in 2009 after a head injury sustained during a skiing accident.

An English couple, Colin and Caroline, travel to Venice to mend their strained relationship. On their first night, they follow a stranger named Robert into his home where he regales them with disturbing stories from his childhood while getting them drunk on wine.
