Mädchen Amick, born December 12, 1970 in Sparks, Nevada, rose to fame as an American actress in the early 1990s. Her name 'Mädchen', meaning 'girl' in German, became known globally when she played Shelly Johnson in David Lynch's cult series 'Twin Peaks' (1990-1991 and its revival in 2017). She has also appeared in notable TV shows like 'Gilmore Girls' (2002-2003), 'ER' (2004-2005), 'Witches of East End' (2013-2014), and 'Riverdale' (2017-present). Amick is married to David Alexis, with whom she has two children: Sylvester Time Alexis (born 1992) and Mina Tobias Alexis (born 1993). She is an advocate for mental health awareness, particularly after her daughter's bipolar disorder diagnosis.

Architect Ray Reardon meets Lena at an art gallery and they quickly marry despite knowing little about each other. They have a child together and initially seem happy.
