The story of 'Vier Tage Toskana' revolves around the urgent need to sell a magnificent estate in Tuscany owned by the late artist Dorn and his family. The eldest daughter, Valerie, travels to the estate ahead of her mother and younger sister to negotiate its sale with Robert Beck, a fellow German who has been caretaking it alongside Antonio 'Toni' Gianni. Upon their arrival at the estate, the family discovers that the youngest daughter, Susi, is engaged to Toni's son Bruno, much to Erika's disapproval.
