Before acting, Blakely worked various jobs including nightclub bouncer, model, and cook. She married actor Peter Craig but divorced later. In 'Tribe,' directed by Steve Boyum and shot in Queensland, Australia, a group of young sailors are attacked by pirates at sea. The sailors are then marooned on a deserted tropical island after their boat sinks following the attack. Unbeknownst to them, the island is still littered with booby traps from World War II. The survivors must navigate this treacherous environment and find a way to escape the island.
'Tribe' (1999) is an action-adventure film starring Craig McLachlan, Nadine Garner, Rachel Blakely, and Antonio Sabato Jr., previously known for his role in 'Melrose Place.' The movie is notable for its setting on a Queensland island, which doubles as a character due to the dangerous World War II booby traps scattered across it. It's a four-hour epic centered around survival and perseverance against overwhelming odds.
