Edwina Beth 'Edy' Williams, born July 9, 1942 in America, began her career as a model and beauty pageant contestant before becoming an actress. She appeared in various TV shows like The Beverly Hillbillies, Batman, Adam-12, Lost in Space, and films such as The Naked Kiss (1964), Good Times (1967), Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970), and The Seven Minutes (1974). Williams married filmmaker Russ Meyer in 1970 after appearing in his films. She was photographed for Playboy in 1973, and after their divorce in 1977, she continued acting, mostly in films involving nudity. In the 1980s, she appeared on The People's Court (1982) and sporadically acted until the early 1990s. Williams is known for her revealing outfits at Academy Awards and Cannes Film Festival since the 1970s.
